Hand Built, sculptured and painted, midfire clay, underglaze, glaze
Created from the feeling of overwhelm when viewing monolithic lighthouses thinking they may be doing so much more, surrounded by mysteries of the sea, harsh histories and that eerie feeling you’re being watched. Many of these symbols are repeated in dreams of secret message I have not yet decoded. The large jug represents the endless oceans and sky.
This piece draws upon many years of imagery and themes and is integral to my creative development.
There will be only two other reporoductions of this piece each with unique variations.

Food safe clay and glaze. Dishwasher safe with care for protruding handles and avoid rubbing against other items. Avoid temperature extremes from freezer to oven. Microwave reheating with care.
